Exciting news! The adoption tax credit has been made permanent! On January 1, 2013, Congress passed the American Taxpayer Relief Act, which includes a permanent extension of the Adoption Tax Credit!

We give a big "thank you" to the groups, organizations and individuals who advocated for this important financial resource. Many families will now be able to complete their dream of adoption, and more importantly, infants and children will be connected with loving families.
